| Profile |
| During my study of Computer Science at the technical college in Darmstadt I worked as a freelancer and developed commercial software.
After my graduation as “Diplom-Informatiker (FH) I started my career as IT specialist in a leading technology company in the fields of process engineering and plant contracting. Starting with 2nd- and 3rd-level support I was later working on the rollout of new IT systems (desktop and network operating systems). I started working for IBM as an IT specialist (main focus: Wintel operating systems and networks) in 1995 as the IT department was outsourced to an IBM subsidiary. For several years I was working as a Technical Solution Architect. My main tasks in the past were the design of Groupware/Messaging solutions based on Lotus Notes/Domino and planning and implementation of Groupware migration and transition projects. Since August 2007 I am working for IBM Software Services for Lotus (ISSL) with the main focus on “Social Software” and “Web 2.0” especially the products Lotus Quickr and Lotus Connections. |
