New James Bond movie

Gone to the movies (Cinestar, Frankfurt) yesterday. Watched the new James Bond “Stirb an einem anderen Tag”. Yes, I am a James Bond fan so Iiked this one too, although I must admit that there were some scenes which were very illogical….

Afterwards we went to an American bar/restaurant called “Louisiana” for a Chilli Cheese Burger and a Margerita. The burger tasted well, the Margerita was only average. And unfortunately the music was very loud and the air very muggy. Think it will not be my favourite bar…

Harry Potter

Just returned from the cinema. I watched Harry Potter und die Kammer des Schreckens. I liked it very much, especially the second part after the break. I think it was much better than the first film. But I still Iike the books more than the film…. By the way, the film is FSK 6 which means that children older than 6 years are allowed to watch the film. I think there are many scenes in the film which are not suitable for 6 year-old children!

WLAN installed

Yesterday afternoon I installed a Wireless LAN at home. As access point I am using a D-LINK DWL-900AP+. In my IBM Think Pad I am using a D-LINK DWL-650+ PCMCIA cardbus adapter. Both of them are supporting the 802.11b standard, have WEP 256 bit encryption and have a maximum transfer rate of 22Mbps if the wireless connection is good. The setup of both the access point and the PCMCIA card with Win2K was very easy and was done after 10 minutes.
