Der erste Schnee am letzten Tag des Jahres 🙂
Da es noch zu warm ist, wird er aber eher nicht liegen bleiben. Bestimmt wird es nachher wieder so dunkel und regnerisch so wie die letzten Tage / Wochen 🙁
Nachtrag (4:40 pm):
Wie befürchtet war es das schon mit der weissen Pracht. Wenn ich aus dem Fenster schaue, hat es aber wohl trotzdem für einen kleinen Mini-Schneemann gereicht 🙂
So, es ist geschafft. Das neue Design nimmt langsam Formen an. Ich überlege, ob ich meine bisherige Webseite nicht aufgebe und die Inhalte hier in das Weblog integriere. Entsprechende Links sind schon mal vorgesehen, noch laufen sie allerdings ins Leere.
Die Seiten liegen nun schon mal nicht mehr bei blogspot.com sondern auf dem Webserver meines Providers.

Leider hat Blogger keiner eingebaute Kommentarfunktion. Derzeit liegt diese Funktion daher auf einem Server von Enetation. Leider ist der Service sehr langsam und teilweise gar nicht erreichbar, so dass die Ladezeiten der ganzen Seite darunter leidet. Werde mir doch ein anderes Kommentarsystem suchen müssen.
Just installed w.bloggar. It’s a nice tool to publish things to your weblog. It supports many kind of weblogs including Blogger. With this tool it is very easy to format your postings (e.g. different font styles, sizes, colors … or to link to other pages and upload images to your web server etc.)
Give it a try ….
By the way: If you are using IE 6.x and want to use the native Blogger function so that you can publish via your browser you should try this tool because the nornal installation method via the Blogger settings page does not work for IE 6.x
Spent the evening at the Lebanese restaurant “Byblos” in Frankfurt…. Food is really good there…. Unfortunately no belly dancing this night 🙁 Greetings to my wonderful date …. it was a very nice evening!

As my old monitor EIZO Flexscan F56 seems to have some problems in the last weeks I decided to buy a new one. So I bought the Samsung Syncmaster 171S yesterday at the Media Markt. It’s a 17″ TFT-LCD monitor with a max. resolution of 1280×1024 pixels. It has a very bright and pin sharp picture and although I now use a higher resolution than with my old monitor the font is clearly readable.
Gone to the movies (Cinestar, Frankfurt) yesterday. Watched the new James Bond “Stirb an einem anderen Tag”. Yes, I am a James Bond fan so Iiked this one too, although I must admit that there were some scenes which were very illogical….
Afterwards we went to an American bar/restaurant called “Louisiana” for a Chilli Cheese Burger and a Margerita. The burger tasted well, the Margerita was only average. And unfortunately the music was very loud and the air very muggy. Think it will not be my favourite bar…
Just came back from watching Urban Priol with his new program “Tilt!”. It was 2,5 hours of really great cabaret. Hadn’t seen him for a long time but I think it was one of his best programs until now. It’s a pity that it is so hard to get tickets for him. This time it was only possible because it was in the “Stadthalle” in Aschaffenburg which is relatively big.
