Where is the big difference between the look & feel of the Lotus Notes 8 client and the Mac Mail application?

vowe thinks the Mac Mail interface is much better … I cannot understand that as for me both clients look almost the same ….

Q-Bar in Aschaffenburg

Mal wieder eine Empfehlung zum Ausgehen in Aschaffenburg: Die “Q-Bar” in der Sandgasse 53 (Parken z.B. in der Tiefgarage “Alexandrastrasse”). Ein kubanisches Lokal / Bar mit sehr gutem Essen und Trinken, nette Bedienungen. Man kann auch draußen sitzen und die Leute in der Fußgängerzone vorbei flanieren sehen. Allerdings ist es, zumindest am WE immer ziemlich voll …

Generell ist mir gestern abend mal wieder aufgefallen, dass sich Aschaffenburg ganz schön herausgeputzt hat. Ich denke, wir sollten da öfter mal wieder hingehen.

Wohnung verkauft

Nun, es war nicht leicht und hat länger gedauert als erwartet, genauer gesagt fast 9 Monate. Aber heute war Notartermin. Meine Wohnung in Dietzenbach ist nun verkauft. Damit ist das Kapitel Umzug nun endgültig abgeschlossen 🙂

Die Immobilienportale Immobilienscout24 und Immowelt haben ungefähr die gleiche Anzahl an Interessenten gebracht wie die Anzeigen im Immobilien-Inserat. Erfolgreicher war das Plakat an der Balkonbrüstung, das wir leider erst viel zu spät aufgehängt hatten. Der Käufer kam letztendlich aber dann doch über Immowelt.

Der absolute Reinfall waren alle Makler die wir zwischenzeitlich eingeschaltet hatten. Hier bin ich froh, dass ich mir grundsätzlich vorbehalten hatte die Wohnung auch selbst privat zu verkaufen. Von den Maklern kam wirklich kein einziger Interessent, der die Wohnung wenigsten einmal besichtigt hätte. Also, ich kann nur jedem raten: Gebt keinem Makler ein Alleinvertriebsrecht ….

Lotus Quickr: Redefine standard CSS definitions for themes

While trying to customize the default Quickr themes you will find various class or id names which are referenced in the HTML code but are not present in the STYLESHEET.CSS for that theme (e.g. class=”actionLink”, class=”qpg_bannerTitle”, class=”workspaceBgEdit” etc.).

You are able to redefine these styles in the STYLESHEET.CSS file but it would be nice to use the original definitions as a basis and change only the settings you need.

To check out the original definitions you can open the file ..\LotusQuickr\AreaTypes\HaikuCommonForms.ntf with the Designer client and look into the subform “h_CommonStylesheet”.

You should not update the definitions within this file even if you want to have the change in all places as this file might be overwritten with every release update (and even with fixes as you can see in the first hot fix package). So all changes should go in the STYLESHEET.CSS file of a custom theme.
